How it works

Estimate bricks or blocks, rows, net wall area and mortar volume using actual unit dimensions, joint thickness, openings and waste.

Openings are subtracted from gross wall area. Unit count is based on the nominal module including joints; mortar is estimated from the difference between masonry and unit volume.
