Privacy policy
This notice explains what ONON.PRO processes when you use the website and how you can exercise your rights.
Data processed to provide the service
The server receives ordinary request metadata such as IP address, browser information and timestamps. Calculator inputs are processed to return a result and are not stored in calculation analytics. Only when you explicitly create a result link, the entered values, selected units and calculated response are stored as a snapshot. Operational records contain the calculator key, locale, duration, success status and error code, without the entered values. Security and infrastructure logs are retained only as needed to operate and protect the service.
Optional analytics and conversion measurement
Only after consent, self-hosted Umami records page paths, referrers, campaign tags, browser and device classes, country-level location and named product actions such as opening a calculator, completing a calculation or creating a result link. URLs are stripped of arbitrary search parameters and calculator values, submitted text and coordinates are not sent to Umami. Google Analytics measures page usage and Google Ads receives a conversion event after a successful user-initiated calculation, including the calculator key, category and interface language. ONON.PRO also records internal search queries, result counts and relevance, clicks, result position, reformulations, exits, quick returns and successful follow-up calculations. The Search Demand session identifier is random and stored as a one-way hash; its database does not store a full IP address.
Location and submitted content
Fishing coordinates are requested only after your action, used to obtain a forecast and not saved by ONON.PRO. Text entered in developer tools is processed for the response and not added to analytics; public result links are disabled for tools that accept arbitrary text. Calculator suggestions are voluntary; their text and language are stored so they can be reviewed. Do not submit personal or confidential information.
Purposes and legal bases
Necessary processing supports delivery, security and reliability of the requested service and our legitimate interests in operating it. Optional analytics and advertising conversion measurement are based on consent, which can be withdrawn at any time. Voluntary suggestions are processed to respond to the request and plan requested functionality.
Processors and international transfers
Hosting infrastructure, including the self-hosted Umami database, is provided by Hetzner in the EU. Umami data is not sent to an Umami cloud service. When measurement is accepted, Google processes Analytics and Google Ads conversion data under its privacy and data-transfer terms and may process data outside your country. ONON.PRO does not sell personal data and keeps ad personalisation disabled.
Retention
Result links expire and their stored snapshots are deleted after 180 days; anyone who has an active link can view its values and result. Raw internal search events are deleted after 90 days by default. Self-hosted Umami events and anonymous sessions are deleted after 400 days by default. Aggregated, non-identifying reports may be kept longer. Consent choices are renewed after 180 days. Google Analytics and Google Ads retention are controlled in their respective Google properties. Suggestions are kept while needed for review and planning, then deleted or anonymised. Operational and security logs are kept only for a limited period required for maintenance and incident investigation.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time through “Privacy settings” without losing access to the service. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Security and changes
We use access controls, rate limiting, bot filtering, transport encryption and data minimisation. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Material changes to this notice will be published here with a new effective date.
